A seemingly friendly cat outside of my house bit and scratched me. The bites didnt hurt that much and just felt like a sharp poke. I don't know much about cats, but it seemed friendly considering it licked my arm, let me pet, rubbed itself against my legs and was purring. I probably spooked it when I was petting, but right after it bit me, it came back to my arms to let me pet. The bites have a tiny little hole with very little blood and had redness around it but not much. The scratch marks are also thin streaks. Not sure if a mosquito could do that because I did end up getting a pretty big mosquito bite on my foot just now.
Having anxiety, I'm pretty nervous now about the bites and scratches because after reading some posts and hearing how you can end up in the ER, it's a bit scary. It's currently night time for me atm so I can't go to the doctor's, but none of the bites hurt at all. The swelling also looks a little better now to. I washed them with soap, applied hydrogen peroxide, and used neosporin. If you guys have any other advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much!
