My cat hates my new kitten. Hissing, swatting, etc. My new kitten chases after her because he wants to play, he does the same to his toys and even my feet. My cat spends all day outside and only ever comes back to sleep with my mom at around midnight, or to eat. I know that you are going to say stuff like ''buy the feliway diffussers!'' or ''Keep the kitty in a separate room!''... But here's the problem: My mother just doesn't listen to me. I've insisted on buying the diffussers, but she doesn't listen. I'm too young (underaged) to work or even have my own money.
What I'm trying to get at is that I need a solution that I can 100% get to by myself. I can't buy anything.
When I try to lock the kitty in a separate room, he meows extremely loudly, knocks stuff over, breaks stuff, and tackles the door. My cat won't come in, even if the kitty isn't at sight. I would shut the door and keep them both inside but again, my mother doesn't allow it, and just lets my cat go out because she hates the noises of hissing and meowing.
I don't have cat treats and I honestly just don't know what to do. I can't contact any vet, because I don't have money. It's been like this for two months now, and the pressure on my chest just keeps growing.
