My dog has separation anxiety so bad he cries, barks, scratches up the doors, and actually will back up and run into the door trying to knock it down if hes in a different room than me to get to me. I cant leave him outside to use the bathroom for too long before he starts, I cant leave him in my room to go to the bathroom, I cant go into any space or do anything if hes not with me without him absolutely losing it. Its gotten so bad and I'm tired of seeing my poor dog like this, and not being able to have a life. Can anyone help me help him? Are there any good calming treats, or any techniques I could use? I'm open to anything.
