Hello, so I adopted a kitten yesterday and I’ve spent all night with him. He’s all normal, he trusts me and likes to sleep on my shoulders.
However when I leave the room he begins to meow fairly loudly. It makes me worried so I come back and hold him for a few minutes before leaving again. After another couple minutes he begins to meow again….. how can I get him comfortable enough to not need to meow when I leave?
He will be able to free roam the house when he gets introduced to our dogs and cats but it’s too early for that right now.
I have not slept at all and I need sleep but I don’t want the kitten to be scared
