Hi! We've recently adopted a new kitten named Osamu (1 month and 19 days old more or less) from a family friend. However, he has not eaten since he's arrived here (as of writing, almost 36 hours ago). We've tried two brands of wet food, including one that his vet prescribed when we took him for a check up, but the most he'll do is give it one or two bites before ignoring it. He also isn't drinking water.
Aside from that, he's pretty energetic between naps and fairly sociable, and our vet told us that he seems healthy. I'm aware that new kittens sometimes avoid eating when in a new environment, but I'm quite worried about him because of how long it's been. He's also vomited a yellow liquid (maybe bile?) once. Would anyone be able to help?
P.S. Our next idea is to have him try dry kitten food.
