I have two brother cats (literally, same Litter) and a golden trite we. The dog has never had any. The cats? Cas and Dean, for two months only Dean showed signs. I used frontline, bought more thinking mine was old, used something organic, gave him a flea bath and then a flea collar cause I noticed there were often on his face. Dean was scratching scabs all over his face and neck. Cas other the other hand seemed chill( like nothing happened. Until the day before the vet I noticed he had fleas on his face. They gave them capstar to kill fleas instantly (and 4 to take home) and advantage plus which is similar to frontline but you need a prescription. When we got home we kept them outside and the dog and we used a mosquito digger on the entire house. I know mosquitos don’t just disappear but it’s like they aren’t bother Cas or bree (the dog) just Dean. Nearly 2 weeks after the vet visit I pulled 15 fleas off his face before he basically wouldn’t let me anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can help better? I just don’t know what to do anymore and I won’t give up on him.
