I have recieved this 8 week old kitten a few days ago. The first thing i noticed is that he had some gunk in his eye and a cute little sneeze. Other than those 2 things there was nothing out of the ordinary. This evening about 30 minutes ago my son came in and told me the kitten had fallen off of the chair and was not breathing (the words of a dramatic 13 y/o). When i approached the kitten he was responsive but would not stand up. So i picked him up, wrapped him in a towel and now he is laying in my bed. He can stand up but wont for long, he just lays back down. He wont eat any food and hes also purring which from what i understand is not a good sign. So my question is....has this ever happened to anyone else before and what could it possibly be? I am going to take the kitten to the vet, just not tonight. Any serious response is appreciated.
