I was walking my dog an hour or so ago when a cat attacked him. The cat swatted and hissed at him and then began to circle him? The whole encounter was very weird. I slowly steered him away as to not aggravate the cat and we eventually made it home without the cat following. I inspected for scratches or bites but I didn’t find anything. He was scared enough to help when the cat attacked so I don’t know if I’m just not seeing any small puncture wounds? I’m nervous about rabies. He has his shot I’m just not sure how long ago or if it’s still effective.
Am I being paranoid? Should I take him to the vet? Should we both get rabies shots?
