hey guys! i don’t know if this is the correct thread to be posting on, but i thought i’d give it a try. i live in a city, but my family recently purchased a house in a more rural area. after a few times going there, we began to see a cat watching us and eventually coming over to us to get pet. the people who lived in the house before had mentioned that they were feeding her and she just had a litter of kittens. she had no collar, looked very skinny, and had ticks on her neck. since then, every time we went there we would see her and she would approach us. she was always super hungry and would eat anything we gave her. we eventually discovered that she was pregnant, since her stomach got huge. today, we finally decided to take her home with us. but now we are concerned that we may have taken home an outdoor cat. i posted on a website meant for lost and found pets, but nobody has responded. when we go there next, in a few days, we will put up posters. we are also planning on calling the animal shelters in the area on monday. does anyone have any advice? help would be appreciated! we did not mean to have potentially taken somebody’s cat!!!
