My brother suddenly died 3 weeks ago. He has a dog that I adopted. Doesn't really have a breed lol was a rescue Mutt. Probably some lab and maybe boxer? Anyways he's about 6 and has been with my brother since I'd say 6-9 months.wasnt a tiny puppy but deffintly not a adult yet. I always got along with the dog and he was excited to see me. First few days he was pacing around alot and whimpering alot. Didn't eat. I had to like being his face near his water to make sure he drank. He settled down alot but is completely devastated. Body language is not good. Tail has been down. Walking around sort of cowering. Maybe it will just take time but I don't know what to do. I've never seen a dog like this. What could a vet do? Antidepressant? He's eating and drinking now but sort of just nibbles on the food where before he would be excited to eat and mow it down
