First time cat owner here! I adopted a kitten last week (Fig’s around 12 weeks) and she’s currently the only animal in the house. Every few days I either bring her over to my friend’s apartment or he comes to mine and brings his kittens for play dates. And while I know she’s getting social interaction then, I am a bit worried about her not getting the full extent of socialization that she would have if there were another cat/kitten in the house.
I’m not opposed to adopting a brother or sister for her, I just wanted some opinions on how much time she needs to play with another cat and what would be most beneficial.
