about two (2) years ago we adopted a green cheek conure (gcc), we aren't sure how old he is because the man didn't know other than him saying he'd had him for about a year (1) or something like that. i guess he acts like any green cheek conure other than the fact that he never stops talking. like never, he doesn't make bird noises but ever so often. in the beginning we honestly assumed he'd been traumatized by the man who we adopted him from or his former owners and settled with that unfortunate thought but the more we see videos of gccs and hear about them we realize how absolutely not normal his speech pattern is. he says all sorts of crazy things and one of the first nights we had him he let out this super creepy maniacal laugh 😵💫. he's picked up all sorts of words from us too and uses them all the time. does anyone have any clue why this could be?
