Hello! So I am moving to a studio apartment with my dog in October. She does wonders for my mental health and I really would like to bring her, but I’ve been concerned about this decision being a bad one for her. I work a full time job (9-5, Monday to Friday) so she’d be alone in the apartment everyday during those times. She’s used to other animals as we had 4 dogs at my family’s house. I was wondering if there is anything I should look into or do to make sure she doesn’t feel too lonely while I’m away?
A lil extra information on my dog: - she’s a boston terrier (12 lbs.) - not destructive and not a barker - she’s very playful but also naps a lot
A couple options that are pretty much of the table are, getting another pet, getting a dog sitter, and leaving her with my family to begin with. Other than those options, I’d love to hear your experiences or suggestions. Thank you in advance!
