I'm housesitting for four days and am very anxious right now. There are three dogs and one cat. The cat has its own cat door and comes and goes freely. He spent the night with me the first night, and then spent the whole rest of the second day out in the neighborhood and didn't come back that evening, and it hasn't touched its food or water since. We are now on day three, and I went wandering the neighborhood this morning and saw the cat sitting on neighbors porch a block away, which was relieving. I'm not sure if I should contact the owners and tell them the cat hasn't been home in over 24 hours, but I have seen it in the neighborhood. I set some food outside the cat door hoping it'll lure it back in, but I am not sure what else to do. I am freaking out over nothing or should I be concerned?
