So I am turning towards internet because I know I have been a horrible person to an animal and cannot face anyone while talking this out.
I got a kitten from a store, even though my father was against pets. I named him Joey, coz I felt he was cute and stupid just like the character. I had seen enough times how parents change their opinion once they have a pet in their house. After 5 months, my mom and I got very attached to him, my mom more than me but not the case with my father. He used to get very angry that I hadn't taken Joey out of the house in spite of constant nagging by him. I tried my best to keep him longer.
Today, almost 6 months since Joey arrived, I had to give him up to some other family.
I being a single child always felt a void, Joey filled it. Right now all I am hoping is for the family to take good care of him, cuz if anything bad happens, I will not be able to forgive myself for ruining that little animal's life.
I know everyone is gonna hate me, but I wanted to let this out somewhere and I think I deserve the hate.
