Not looking for advice on how to deal with it, I've got that covered. Been giving him baths with a good skunk shampoo and he only has a little bit of skunk smell left on him...his head and face. I also think he got sprayed from a distance because even when it happened, the smell was obvious but not super strong.
Anyway, he's been living in the garage all week. At what point is it safe to bring him back in the house without worrying about any residual oils getting into things like carpet, his dog bed, etc? The odor is just about gone but I can still smell it if I put my face close to his.
