Hi so our dogs leg has been twitching for months now . He is very neglected by my family . I've asked my parents to take him to a vet countless times but they just ignore it or make up excuses like 'oh he tried to bite me when I touched him' ' oh it's normal, this is because of the season ' etc etc. Honestly I top hadn't paid much attention to him. Mostly because I had my own stuff to deal with and I was diagnosed with chronic depression and bpd last year so I usually shut myself in my room . And second maybe I didn't feel responsible for him cause I wasn't the one who bought him . But now that I feel kinda okay I started noticing him and he is in such a miserable state . He is kept locked up in the roof 24/7. Not allowed to enter the house . But also not allowed to leave the roof. Some time ago I suggested that if they can't take care of him then maybe we should give him up for adoption or that there are medicines which will kill him with no pain. But they want to make up bullshit excuses again . I am still a student and I don't earn . I want to take him to the vet with my pocket money but I am afraid it won't be enough if they prescribe alot of medicine. I want him to get better. He looks like he's sad and in pain all the time. So if anyone knows how to deal with it please do give advice .
