My dog is 15 years old and has been in good health up until yesterday when he couldn’t move all of suden.
I quickly took him to the vet and his vitals all came back stable but is diagnosed with Luxating patella grade 4 at which can only be fixed with surgery. Therefore the vet said to just consider his age before deciding and was given pain meds.
I have no trouble paying for the surgery but the thing is should I make him suffer more then what he is already by putting him through surgery and the rehabilitation.
He still eats drinks and poops but I just want to hear what others would do in this situation.
