Resident cat won’t eat after introducing new kitten. Help!

We got a new kitten (L) 5 days ago. We put L in a separate room and introduced her to our 2 year old (sushi) slowly, by scent first, like you’re supposed to. By day 4 they were completely fine being in the living room at the same time, no hissing unless L got in Sushi’s face (and even then it was just a small noise with no bristled fur and ears high and forward). Today, we let L in to the main living area again and it went even better. Sushi would let her jump up on the couch with her and even went up and sniffed L when she fell asleep. I thought it was going amazing, but sushi didn’t eat breakfast. And then she didn’t eat dinner. She usually loves eating, to the point where we even had to buy her a slow feeder so she wouldn’t eat too much too fast and throw up. I gave her some treats, a small cube of unseasoned chicken, and she licked her wet food a couple times, but that’s all.

I separated them again, because obviously sushi is stressed about it even if she isn’t outwardly showing it with her body language, but I’m still worried. I don’t think she’s sick since she ate a small amount as well as played with me for a little while. Is this normal or should I be worried? What should I do?

(Also just fyi we already have a feliway diffuser going, as well as a strict feeding schedule)
