There's a stray cat that hangs out around my apartment who has an injured paw. I have no idea what the issue itself is but want to help them. They limp past my sliding glass door every other day and it breaks my heart. I've been trying to earn their trust but they're too skittish. Food doesn't work either because just opening my back door to put it out scares them. And, if I leave it out overnight, the other strays eat it. I'm at a loss for what to do at this point but I know I can't leave them as is. Does anybody have advice on what to do in this scenario?
