About 4 days ago i adopted a 4 month old kitten from the humane society. The next day he had a ton of eye boogers that ended up coating his whole left eye despite me using a warm paper towel to wipe away the gunk that had already dripped out. He has also sneezing fits almost every 20 minutes and struggles to catch his breath afterwards. He is also using the bathroom more than any other cat ive seen- almost 8 times daily. I made an appointment for him this morning but it’s for Thursday, which is about 40 hours away. Do i need to take him in to urgent care?
