Would it be weird to mail my vet a thank you card?

Hey all! Not sure where else to post this and couldn’t really find another answer online/Reddit.

I’ve been going to the same vet since I got my first cat. I currently now have 5 cats, and have had 2 in the past which sadly passed away/had to be put to sleep. I have always taken every single one of them there to him. He is truly the absolute best. To make a long story short, once he even got up out of bed at 5 AM on his day off to come in and do an emergency check on my kitten which sadly ended up passing. Since the deaths of the two others, I have admittedly become a bit of a “helicopter parent” and will bring them in/call at the first sign of anything being off. I always feel horrible and silly, but he is always patient, professional, and attentive. He cuts me deals as he knows I’m a student, and overall if you can’t tell rocks!

Would it be weird for me to mail a card to his office saying a quick thank you for all he does? I’ve just gotten a new kitten (the fifth cat) and took him in and just felt so happy to have found a great vet. I want him to know he’s appreciated! So, would this be appropriate?
