I probably sound like a bad pet owner but I hate my turtle. Well not actually hate him I hate the fact that it's high maintenance and expensive to take care of just for it to act like it doesn't care about me or anything other then food.
I never asked for a turtle it was given to me. At first I was fine with it but after almost 3 years I realized that an aquatic turtle just isn't for me. The tank takes up a lot of space, the light bulbs and Equipment are expensive and having a gaint tank filled with water is a pain. I do all this taking care of him just for him to not show any type of affection....What I really needed was a dog. (I used to have a dog a long time ago) I do love My turtle but I just don't want him anymore But I do not want to give him away because i was worried he will not be taken cared of properly. so I'm just stuck with him. Don't get the wrong idea I do take care of him and he's healthy he just started to feel like an inconvenience to me and I feel horrible for thinking lime this.
I keep him in my room and the thank is 40 gallons and takes up a lot of space. He be making a lot of noise that is annoying. if I move my aquatic turtle out of my room and into a different room will it help the way I feel towards him? I don't know what to do or how to stop feeling like this...
