My vet prescribed epleptin to my dog. However, it resulted in her not even being able to get up to wee or drink water; basically paralysed her. She was also sedated yesterday for X-rays and I spent my night cradling her as she moaned and howled. Not sure if it's the effect of the sedative pulling out or the epleptin, or a combination of both.
Does anyone have any advice and personal history with this drug? It's not FDA approved for animal use yet.
