My pet cat has been experiencing difficulty in urinating from time to time. My cat was brought to a veterinarian months ago and was diagnosed with UTI, antibiotics were given for the cat's medication. Still, there is a time where my cat just pauses while urinating in the sand box and just pees everywhere in the house.
My first thoughts about it is to bring my cat to a vet so they can look into him better. But my parents insists not bringing the cat to a vet (since they will have to use money every time the cat undergoes a check-up).
So every time my cat is having difficulty urinating, we just put him in his cage so the cat does not spread urine everywhere in the house. It does stop, but it comes back mostly weeks later.
I'm not so sure if every time this happens, that is it okay to consult to a vet whenever this happens?
