So my cat is hyperactive and howls at 2-4 am. I'm guessing this is because she's bored and trying to use up energy. I sleep with her in the same room and I don't have any other rooms to put her in.
I read about how I need to tire her out before I go to sleep by playing with her. I have a bouncing wand toy but she isn't too interested in playing with it. She would play for at most 10 minutes before getting bored. I also have a laser pointer that she doesn't play with at all. So I just pet her and follow her around my room which doesn't seem to tire her out.
How do I get her to play with the toys and tire herself out
Edit: or at least some way to stop the howling. she also runs around at night, but that's fine and I could deal with that.
