I have a kitten that whenever I pet her, she gets into a playful mood where she bites me. Not hard enough to break skin, just to get her chompers going. If I pretend like it hurts, say by yelping or yelling when she bites me, will this make her feel stronger and encourage her? I know that lions do this with their cubs to encourage them to be strong predators, so I was wondering if this behavior translates over to domestic cats as well.
