While I know the title sounds bad, I can explain. My mum was bit as a child and has an irrational fear of dogs. This stops us from getting either a dog or a cat, but I'm turning 18 in a few months and moving to vietnam to live with someone. Sadly, I'll only be in Vietnam for a few months (July 1 to October 30), but I would like to care for a dog or cat in that time. Preferably, I would like to take in an older shelter pet and give them a better home for their last year. I don't know how shelters work in vietnam, but was wondering if anyone had an idea?
