I have 2 grown adult cats already living in my apartment along with 2 guinea pigs. I saw a friend post a story of free kittens on instagram and failed to ask any further questions beyond "when can I take her?" When I picked up the kitten I noticed immediately that she had fleas and severe skin irritation so I knew that I couldn't cuddle with her or let her be near the other animals. I took her to the vet the next day and they confirmed the ringworm and gave me oral medicine and wipes. I clean her up daily and play with her in short spans of time but I'm scared to stay with her because I can't risk spreading the fungus. What are the best ways to keep her entertained? Am I being too paranoid about the ringworm? Is there anything else I can do to speed up the healing process?
