Long Island//Feeling Helpless for Some Stray Kittens

I live on Long Island, New York.

My neighbors house went on fire two days ago and we brought them into my house for a few hours to get them away from the cold. Along with them they brought 4, 4 week old stray kittens that were on their property to make sure they did not get hurt. Thinking they were just going to have them stay at my house for only a night, I offered to take care of them. The next day, they never came to pick them up and now I am left with 4 stray kittens to take care of. First off, everyone including me is completely inexperienced with taking care of neonatal kittens. I am a broke college student with a job and lots of credit card debt and a car loan to pay off. My family is extremely busy, my sister is in college and has a job, my little brother is a high schooler that comes home after 6 (not to mention he is really irresponsible) and my mom works 60 hours at her overnight job and spends most of the day sleeping. There are times that no one is at home for hours. I have called every single shelter on Long Island and all the numbers have either gone to voicemail or they have told me straight up they will not take them in. I am feeling so hopeless and afraid for these kittens. We cannot keep up with the financial burden of taking care of them and the amount of care they require.

What should I do now? I don't want them to die.
