Rationale/background
In my view a dog's head if half nose and if he is smelling something that he may also be looking at or hearing, then his not hearing my commands is more of sensory imbalance than noncompliance. The vibration helps balance this out so more vibration across more of the body is better.
I know vibrating units come in all shapes incorporated into other devices (thinking back massagers for chairs here, people which are small rounded ovoids). I feel I should be able to find generic vibration units like this operated or convertible to being operated by remote which I could sew into a harness in some fashion and still get them out for battery placement or charging.
This level of DIY is already a bit more than I am naturally inclined to feel eager or confident about and only reticently being considered from lack of this kind of item existing in the universe. So I would really like to find a way to follow a trodden path of someone who has done something similar even if not for dog harness purposes.
Breaking down intimate devices with remotes is the closes thing I kind find to something ready made for this but inherently fraught and not very economic and broken down E-collars don't lend themselves to anything much smaller or more ergonomic that could readily be incorporated into a harness. Plus I would want to be able to vibrate the whole harness so I would probably need to trigger several units at the same time.
Also, if you are the kind of entrepreneur that might spin up this sort of thing for production if you thought it was a good idea, please feel free to do so.
