My dog (a 5 pound chihuahua) and my cat (a 12 pound maine coon mix).
My cat is starting to get overweight and is forming fat pads that are somewhat large. Me and my fiance have decided to cut down his food but the biggest issue is that my cat will eat all of my dogs food on top of his own. Ive googled solutions and many just say to not have food all day in the dogs bowl. The issue with that is that my dog is very picky and doesn't eat all the food as soon as its put in her bowl. she only eats it throughout the day. I catch the cat eating it all the time but no matter what, if he thinks hes sneaky he eats it. Is there anything I can do to restrict my cat from my dogs food but still allow my dog to be able to eat all day?
