We just started clicker training and the only question we have is where is the point to wean a cat off of treats and then the clicker entirely? Or was I mistaken and there isn't a point to wean off anywhere? We just watched a video on clicker training on the Jackson galaxy Channel on YouTube and noticed they didn't specify where the point to wean off of treats and then moving to weaning off the clicker entirely would be. I know with other animals usually the goal with the clicker is to get them to eventually move on to doing the behavior whether it's a trick or good habit to get into without the clicker or treat required. And I was wondering where/when that point is and what to look for to know when that point has been reached.
