okay so i have a couple of pets already, i have a lovely little (well behaved) chihuahua and a lazy greedy but loving cat, but i’m looking to expand my little family!
(istg this is related bare with me lol) unfortunately i am disabled to the point where every once and a while i could end up bed ridden, (i live with my carer and she can help me a bit but she doesn’t want the whole responsibility obviously as she already takes care of me lol)
i REALLY really want a ferret that’s what i want more but i’m here to ask if they are appropriate for me or if i should just settle for a gentler animal like a snake (ball python) which i also want just not as much
i struggle to lift heavy things, and bend down and am in a wheelchair most of the time and if not i use a old person walker lol or a walking stick if i’m having a good day.
i would put as much effort as i am physically able into giving a ferret a good and healthy and happy life, but please be honest with me do you think i’d be able to do it? and if so if their is any advice for disabled pet owners!:)
