My friend took her dog to the vet when she noticed limping last Friday, the vet can't find anything wrong even with x-ray and sent her home with pain killers. The limping persisted and we took the dog in again and they say we'll need surgery for the growth plate's fracture. Is it possible it was really missed the first time? Can we somehow request our money back for the first visit, or ask them for the x-ray and see if the first vet was negligent??
