So I adopted a kitten yesterday, she’s about 3 months old and I set her up in my bathroom as her safe room. She came out of her carrier immediately, warmed up to me immediately, and started whining and meowing when I left the room. As to not make it a habit, I don’t return to the room until she stops meowing. However, given that she is warming up so quickly, does she really need to stay in there any longer? I don’t want or overwhelm her but I also feel like she’s ready to explore.
