First time posting here, so forgive me if I’m breaking any rules.
I’m 18, going off to college this summer. About a year ago my family adopted two kitties at about 12 weeks old, brothers. I had always wanted a cat, and so I adopted one, and while we were there my father decided he’d like to have another so naturally we chose one of the siblings. You could say one kitty is “mine” and the other is my fathers/families. I love both of them to death, but I am unable to bring two cats into the house I’m moving into as I will have roommates and it won’t work out. I’d be shattered if I left my little buddy at home, but I am seriously conflicted as to if it is wrong to separate them. Of course I’d bring him home whenever I visited, but I still worry he’ll be sad or bored without his brother.
Any advice would be really appreciated!
