Okay, so, my betta fish Andy is around three years old (I've had her for about two years, so I'm assuming she was around a year old when I purchased her) and as of lately she's been showing a ton of symptoms.
Firstly, she refuses to eat. Pellets, flakes, blood worms, nothing. Second, she spends literal HOURS just floating at the top of the tank.
No, she isn't dead; if I poke her, she'll move around, but she always ends up back in the same position.
Like, she stays at the surface of the water with her mouth poking out. She's almost vertical when she does this, so her mouth is facing the top of the tank, her fins are facing the bottom.
Not to mention, her eyes are cloudy and her fins have shrunk considerably over the last month or so. (I believe this is due to clamping, not fin rot.)
I've done a complete water change, pH and ammonia tests, made sure the temperature of the water stayed between 76 - 80 degrees, and I've given her several antibiotic medications, but nothing seems to work.
The part that concerns me the most is the fact that she won't eat, and the fact that if I leave her alone, she'll spend the entire day just floating at the surface of the water. I'm starting to feel helpless, I don't know what I should do.
