Hi. I'm planning to buy a purebreed Burmese female cat in the next 2 months but unfortunately where I'm going to live that breed is not very common and it would be very difficult to find her a stud to breed with. However, there are other breeds of cats living nearby, such as Siamese, and I was wondering if it would be acceptable according to the purebred associations, such as CFA, if my cat had kittens with another type of purebred cat? Would the kittens still be worth anything if I tried to sell them? And would they be allowed certificates with their family history?
