I am looking to adopt a bonded pair of cats. My local shelter has a mother and daughter available. Mother is 1.5 years old and daughter is 10 months. The shelter says they are bonded and will only adopt them together. I would love to take them both, but have heard horror stories about female cats constantly fighting with one another. Has anyone here had luck with two females in the same household? I have previously only had solitary cats in the past.
