Cat keeps going to the bathroom on my bed. I don’t know what to do.

I have a cat that’s pretty old. A couple of months ago she started going to the bathroom on my bed about once a week.

First couple of times I thought maybe they were accidents but it kept happening. Took her to the vet, for her medicine and went from there. Couple of weeks later it started again.

I have since moved her cat liter to my bedroom (use to be in the living room) so maybe she didn’t have to travel so far. It helped but she is still using the bathroom on my bed when I’m not in my room. Whether that’s me going to town for an hour or being in another room for thirty minutes.

I don’t know what to do but I’m tired of changing my sheets every other week. I have thought about getting her a cage and placing her in there when I’m not home but I don’t want to be cruel to her. I love her to death but I can’t keep doing this.

Any advice??
