Dog suddenly crazy. I think it might be a brain tumor.

Our beloved 13 year old German Shepherd mix dog woke up about 5 days ago behaving very oddly. I am super worried it may be a brain tumor or something similar... just because of online searches and videos of other dogs show this to seem likely. Has anyone here had a similar situation and has any personal info to share regarding how to best get it diagnosed (what sort of tests, type of clinic), potential cost, whether its worth pursuing (are treatments even possible, how invasive? How likely is recovery?) Thank you so very much! It would be great to not be totally blindsided about the process and potential outcome and shop for doctors etc.

See below for full story and we have taken her to a vet...those details are also below!

For four days she has barely slept and seems anxious and miserable 20 out of 24 hours a day. She paces around the kitchen table or island, around and around and around, or will lie or sit and look around the room over and over. It doesn't seem like she sees anything, or that it is an OCD like behavior, more like she is scanning fearfully for something and is terrified. She will often jolt very panically/fearfully. Walk in corners and kind of squeeze around stuff...corners she never would go into before because there are tables and lamps and she doesn't really fit, etc. All of these issues get way worse at night. She will shiver, jolt, and her heart will beat so loud after a jolt I can physically hear it, see it against her side/chest, and feel it very strongly. She sometimes kind of chomps her mouth. She no longer wants us to touch her near her chest, head, ears. She never stops panting. She is not wobbly that I can tell. She has acted more excitable/aggressive when she sees other dogs while walking outside.

I took her to the vet a couple days ago, plus she very recently had a full check up (three weeks ago) because she was drinking more water, and nothing major popped up, just the slight kidney trouble to keep an eye on. This more recent visit they did a full physical and can't find anything wrong at all. She suggested we start her on a strong anti-anxiety med and up her arthritis meds (despite Kidney trouble). Her meds did not do any good last night.

Meds:

PROIN - urinating while sleeping - taken for 9 years - currently up to 75mg 2x perday

Trazadone -anxiety

Meloxicam-arthritis

Thank you all!
