I have a nearly 11 year old Lab that has started groaning within the last three months. He still has puppy spunk, shows no visible signs of arthritis, but when he lays down or even while laying, he will let out long groans he used to not do. He also does it while I rub on his sides or if I move my legs when he lays on them and it moves him.
He's healthy minus ear infections and some fatty tumors. I just wondered if this is him aging or something else? I already have appointment made for him with our vet later this week. Just seeing if anyone else has experienced this.
