My boyfriend and I are moving into our first apartment that is unfortunately not pet friendly. We have one dog, our chihuahua Venus. Our apartment has a huge walk-in closet that I plan on making Venus her own space while we are away at work. Our apartment is right infront of a park that is literally across the parking lot. We plan on making the closet her little space while we leave and playing music through a speaker at a decent volume (enough to cover her barks but also not enough to concern the neighbors) while she is in there. Has anybody ever hid a dog in an anti pet apartment? Any tips? Advice? It’s a shitty situation I know but I live in a small town and all the apartments here for whatever reason are not pet friendly. I’m really stressed and if worse comes to worse I will have to give her to my mom. Please help. Thanks so much.
