So I've always wondered how people get their cats to be friends with their birds, reptiles, etc. I have a kitty, but there is no way I would ever feel comfortable letting her near my other critters while they are out of the cage. I don't understand how people can even test letting their cat around small animals without fear of their animal getting hurt or killed. Nevertheless, I've seen cats perfectly fine being around a bird, and I wonder, do people train their cats to do this? Or does it take a certain type of disposition?
