I accidentally hurt my cat, what do?

So I’ve had this cat for 4 or 5 years, that is also his age. He got home from the vet today after an infection bubble on his ear had to get removed. He is on penicillin and has a shaved spot by his ear. I was told to not let him outside for a few days.

At one point I had to go to the shops, and had to open the door. As I was opening I heard the soft cat-paw steps behind me, and closed the door. It met resistance. I didn’t smack the door closed, but a slow, swift movement to avoid letting him out. I looked and saw his head bang from the door, to the doorframe and then back into the door then run away and shake his head. He made no noise, was okay with me petting afterward. I am worried though since it might be the penicillin meowing. I really love this cat and this situation was an honest mistake on my part. Could something have happened to my poor cats head?

TL;DR: My cat got caught between the door and doorframe as it was being closed, could anything have happened?
