We have two cats, both were adopted as adult cats. We got Odin first followed by Hades a year later. Both are fixed and overall get along.
We originally had one cat tower, Odin used to spend time on it and when we got Hades both cats would chill on it, then we realized that Odin no longer got on the tower and that Hades had become extremely territorial of it (lots of rubbing if even a human rests a hand on it)
So our solution... 2nd cat tower across the room so both cats could have their own turf. It started out ok, both cats would hang out on their respective towers. But lately, once Odin has settled, we'll see the crazy look in Hades eyes and he'll dart across the room and swat at Odin in his tower and take his place.
So now that Hades has claimed both, any tips on how to lessen territorial behavior?
