Age: 5.5 months Breed: bengal Sex: male Weight: 3.5 kilos Neutered status: neutered
My kitten was neutered 11 days ago and has become more vocal since. While he would meow maybe once a day prior, he now meows quite a lot: to get our attention in the morning, when he's in a different room or when he wants to keep playing after we've played for a while and slowed down at the end.
The procedure went really smoothly, he recovered within hours and was his usual self. He didn't pick at the incision at all and it was as if nothing had been done, judging by his mood. I took him back to the vets for a check-up after three days and they said he's all good.
I don't think he's in pain, it just seems to be a personality change and that he's become more needy. Is that a fair assessment? Is there anything I can do to make him happier? Is this a normal result?
