My dog doesn’t want a goddamn thing to do with me. I live with my parents, who she loves, because they feed her whatever the hell they’re eating. When the vet told me her liver was in bad shape I finally demanded they stop feeding her 5+ human meals a day. They said ok. Problem is they’ve conditioned her to love them more because FOOD. My dog fucking despises me because I’m not actively poisoning her. I know dogs are food motivated and blah blah but it still depresses the fuck out of me that my dog hates me just because I’m trying to make her healthier. Seriously, my dog actively avoids me. I love her and play with her but because I don’t give her metric fuck-tons of eggs and cheese and chocolate she hates me. This depresses the hell out of me. What the hell should I do?
