Hello everyone. My Husky is very sick. She feels weak, won't eat, discharges a bit of saliva, and discharges black tarry stool with blood. She doesn't vomit and she recently gave birth to 6 pups 3 weeks ago. She's been in this condition for 4 days already.
We brought her to the veterinary clinic a few hours ago and had her lab tests. Her doctor says that according to lab results, she has low blood and platelet count and could possibly have a virus in the blood. She was supposed to be admitted, but the expenses are too high and we couldn't afford it.
I would just like to know if what home remedies I could do to help her recover? Could she still recover? She's been given a medication that includes anti-biotic and iron-aid.
Any meaningful help will be really appreciated.
